Carnival Committee

Purpose:  to be responsible for planning the annual carnival

Important Carnival dates for all members & volunteers
  Boning of hams June tbd, 5:30 pm
  Cooking of hams tbd
  Grounds preparation tbd
  Clean-up tbd        6:00 p.m.  Bring: shovel, rake, blower, broom, pickup truck.  Plan on  2 hours.

The Jefferson Ruritan Community Carnival

Mon., July 27 - Sat., Aug. 1, 2008

at the Jefferson Ruritan Center.  

Join in this annual community event, supporting the Ruritan and other local organizations in making Jefferson the special place it is to live.   Your patronage would be appreciated!!!

Free parking and admission!   Please, no pets.

Nightly Entertainment (2009 schedule)

Mon., July 27 Shades (50's & 60's)
Tues., July 28 Big Cam & the Lifters (50's & 60's)
Wed., July 29 Brandy Stills Band (country)
Thur., July 30 Glen & Gemtones w/ Elvis (50's & 60's)
Fri., July 31 Brushfire (country)
Sat., Aug. 1 Four of a Kind (country)

Rides by M&M Amusements. 

Ride special each evening:  ride all night for $18.

Prize Bingo 

Platters served nightly

5 - 8:00 p.m. in the air conditioned Ruritan Center.

Fried Chicken, Country Ham, Roast Beef or Fried Shrimp w/ vegetable buffet  

Prices to be posted.

Games/Sandwiches (Country ham, hamburgers, fries, hot dogs)
