Next Task Force Meeting

November 29 (Tuesday), 6:30 p.m., Jefferson Ruritan Center. 

The engineering team of the Jefferson Streetscape Project would like to meet with members of the Citizens Task Force and property owners at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Jefferson Ruritan Center. The team of employees of the State Highway Administration and contracting companies are in the final design phase of the project and the funds for construction have been approved.  The purpose of the meeting is to answer questions or discuss concerns raised by property owners.  The general public is welcomed to attend and ask questions towards the end of our meeting.

This is the final stretch of the project that began in May, 2000.  Letís do what we can to clear up any concerns in a timely manner so construction can begin without further delay.

The SHA plans were approved by more than 2/3 of the property owners along Jefferson Pike (from the school to Old Holter Road).  This means that the next phase can continue when funds are obtained.
