Minutes from the June 28, 2001 meeting of the Jefferson Streetscape Task Force

Held at the Jefferson Community Center, 7:00 pm.

In attendance:
Mike Boyer (acting as secretary in Mary's absence) , Jim Carpenter, Greg Filar (NAI), John Leslie, Neil Parrot, Dave Phillips (SHA), Tony Poffenberger, Mark Summers, Mike Summers.

Jim Carpenter called the meeting to order at 7:10 pm.

Agenda was approved.

Minutes from the May 24th meeting were approved as written.

Treasurer's Report: No report.

Web Committee Report: No report.

Database Administrator Report: No report.

Publicity Committee Report: No report.

SHA Liaison Report: No report.

Old Business:

New Business: Parking concerns. Dave Phillips has taken parking information from the walk through and created a list of areas with problems. Suggested that we need to contact people who are impacted and talk with them. Specific areas of need are #3817-3819 Jefferson Pike, Adrienne's Flower Delights, Methodist Church (fence - best if they could move it and it be the church's decision) and Hemp's produce stand.

Lengthy discussion on relocation of community center entrance. No resolution.

State roads to revise drawings to show as much parking on the street as possible and show options where applicable.
