Business: Plan the door to door survey of property owners.
The draft
Survey Instrument was discussed and modified. Several topics were
deemed not relevant to the purpose stated at the top of the questionnaire.
Topics were reworded into questions. In the case where the survey
could not be completed during the interview, it was agreed to provide a
return-addressed envelop so that the property owner could mail the completed
survey.
Jim agreed to provide a the list of written comments that property owners had
submitted in the last public meeting to the interviewers.
Booklets for individual property owners were reviewed. David explained the
symbols. The survey target area (the properties with public sidewalks) is
divided into six blocks. Each booklet contains diagrams and pictures of the
existing conditions and conceptual designs of the block containing the property.
Assignments of Task Force Members
Every task force member present agreed to participate in the door to door
survey. However, it was agreed to wait until the final version of the
questionnaire was done to make individual assignments and hand out the booklets.
The assignments will be made at our next meeting in two weeks.
Next Task Force Meeting will be Thursday, Nov. 9
